I was Lauren's Falconry Sponsor for two (2) years. Lauren devoured everything she could get her hands on about falconry. I was lucky to have her as my apprentice. As a father of 3 daughters, I'm as proud of her as if she was one of my one!Robert Lee Raineyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06218334089788685079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4972254401664966699.post-65317247556653701702009-08-30T21:40:40.764-05:002009-08-30T21:40:40.764-05:00Chad -

I've just discovered your blog through Albert (love it, by the way - the decoy and bottle of Grouse pictured at the title is brilliant). It seems like quite a long time ago that you visited the Okiehawkers - but I remember it well. I ended up flying that red-tail pictured for five years before releasing her back into the wild. I think learning falconry in Oklahoma has been a great preparation for hawking in the wider world. Your comments certainly mean a lot - thank you! I'm looking forward to following along here and at Field&Stream.

All the best!Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12125736316524725174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4972254401664966699.post-20470763689192935562009-08-29T08:26:07.221-05:002009-08-29T08:26:07.221-05:00'a person must first pass a comprehensive test...'a person must first pass a comprehensive test covering everything from biology to care and handling to pertinent laws and regulations.
